Winter Walk is back!

Winter Walk 2009

Muslim Hands 2nd Annual Winter Walk was a huge success, raising money and awareness for Palestinian children one year on from the terrible bombing of Gaza. Walkers, both young and old, braved the chilly winter air to walk up to 10 kilometres to raise money for psychosocial therapy for traumatised children.

Alhamdulillah, we were greeted by bright skies and dry weather which brought out the beauty of Kensington Gardens. A big thanks to our volunteers for marshalling the route and of course to all the walkers for bringing family and friends for what turned out to be an enjoyable day out as well as a successful fundraiser!
