Business Giving
Companies have a long history of social responsibility and of supporting the work of charitable organisations. As well as helping the poor and needy, working with an organisation such as Muslim Hands has an undeniable impact on your company's profile and positive perception in the community.
Muslim Hands is one of the largest and most established UK Muslim charities. We work in over forty countries worldwide and have a proven track record in aid distribution and long term development work. We are recipients of the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 Accreditation, ensuring transparency and quality of service.
Work With Us
Collection boxes are an excellent way to practically support Muslim Hands and raise awareness of our work. They provide a convenient and hassle free way for staff and customers to donate.
Upon request Muslim Hands can supply a sealed collection box to your business or organisation. We ask you take responsibility for the box and empty it at regular intervals, sending us the total collected for which we can then issue a receipt.
For further details or to request a collection box please complete this form.
These are just some of the ways that your company can work with us:
-
Donations
Your organisation can make a one-off donation or sign up to give on a regular basis.
You can get advice on paying zakah on your company's assets and allow Muslim Hands to use your zakah in helping those most needy.
A donation to Muslim Hands may be eligible for tax relief and other benefits. To find out more please see the HM Treasury and HM Revenue and Customs websites. -
Gifts in Kind
By donating your company's services or equipment you can help reduce Muslim Hands' costs and allow us to spend more of your money where it's needed most. -
Sponsorship
There are a number of opportunities for your business to sponsor Muslim Hands events, projects or activities, with all proceeds used to further our work. -
Staff Fundraising
Actively supporting staff or matching funds raised is yet another way to help Muslim Hands. This is especially true during our emergency appeals and national fundraising campaigns such as Green Ribbon Week. -
Payroll Giving
Payroll giving schemes such as Give As You Earn (GAYE) allow your staff to give directly to Muslim Hands from their salary, tax-free. Setting up a scheme is quick and easy and can have important tax benefits for your employees. For further information please contact Amjad Shah at shah@muslimhands.org.
